EqStim suspension is an equine immunostimulant featuring 0.4 mg/mL non-viable Propionibacterium acnes in 12.5% ethanol in saline. It is indicated for horses as an adjunct to conventional therapy in the treatment of Equine Respiratory Disease Complex (ERDC). When used with antibiotic or hyperimmune therapy, EqStim has been demonstrated to increase the rate of recovery in primary and secondary bacterial and viral infections associated with ERDC.
